In addition to the systems described in the previous sections, CAMT has developed a number of different tools currently used by state arts agencies and local arts organizations.
CAMT has developed a number of Automated Grants Management Systems (AGMS) for state arts agencies and funding organizations to assist and streamline their granting processes.
Among our AGMS partners are:
CAMT partnered with The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh to develop this online database tool to assist them in managing their Summer Choral Institute registration process including online orders of music CDs and scores.
This project was one of the four initiatives CAMT was able to pursue thanks to the generous support from The Heinz Endowments.
The Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society was our partner in this project to develop an online music lesson interface. The online system allowed students from local schools to participate in an online course on Hungarian Folk Music including reading six theoretical and practical lessons, taking online quizzes, and composing music online.
This project was the first one of four initiatives CAMT was able to pursue thanks to the generous support from The Heinz Endowments.
Pro Arts was CAMT's partner in developing and establishing an online artist database to help link artists from the local region to opportunities for funding, commissions, exhibitions and professional development programs.
In partnership with the Society for Contemporary Crafts, CAMT developed an online storefront for the organization to bring and display the work of nationally recognized artists into one space in order to broaden the perspective the customer has when they first walk through the door. The store features art created in wood, glass, ceramics, metal, fiber and found objects.
PA Presenters Block Booking Interface - this online system was designed to provide presenting arts organization with an easy access to a list of artists who are available to present in Pennsylvania. The online database also tracks and provides information on the current bookings of each particular artist, in order to facilitate cooperation and cost sharing between presenters who are interested in bringing in the same artists.
CAMT has designed and developed and currently maintains 13 different MS Access database systems to support the Pennsylvania Partners for the Arts program initiated by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to decentralize and simplify local grant making processes by incorporate local arts council in the decision-making.
Recently CAMT completed a new joint project with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater (PBT) to design and build a new section the PBT website, PBT for Kids, targeted at young children as primary audience. PBT Kids includes a number of interactive games, quizzes and the Pointe Partners Club.
If you are interested in learning more about any of these systems, please contact Brad Stephenson at 412-268-3695 or bstephenson@cmu.edu to discuss questions and possibly schedule a demonstration session.
